BACKGROUND

A career built from the ground up

01

From the front line to the boardroom

From training to coaching, from team management to operations management and on to the roles of operations director and managing director, every step of my career has taught me to connect day-to-day constraints with long-term objectives.

02

Demanding environments

I have worked in demanding environments such as assistance services, financial services and healthcare, in both the private and the non-profit sectors. This variety enables me to take account of the purpose, funding and governance arrangements specific to each company or non-profit.

03

A practice built on proven tools

As a certified TMA coach trained in leadership and operational excellence, I founded DEZPEGA to offer support that is human, structured and pragmatic.

IN A NUTSHELL

Shall we get to know each other a little better?

Born in Brussels to Spanish-Italian parents, I grew up in a joyful, if at times explosive, mix of cultures, languages and traditions. Very early on, I realised that speaking several languages could open quite a few doors. Thanks, Mum and Dad! With a bachelor’s degree in languages and literature under my belt, I’ve kept that love of switching from one language to another, sometimes even mid-sentence. In my personal and professional life alike, it has become second nature.

Beyond languages, what really drives me is people.

Sociable, enthusiastic, an eternal optimist and blessed with energy that can sometimes seem boundless, I have always drawn my motivation from meeting people, from conversations and from human connection. So it was quite natural that I found myself supporting teams, helping them grow and moving into management. And I have to admit, it’s a world I’m passionate about!

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to learn a great deal, from my successes and my mistakes alike, and above all from the people I’ve met along the way. Today, I want to share all of that, pass on what I’ve learnt and, in my own way, give a little back to society.

One way I do this is by volunteering for organisations and projects that matter deeply to me: WorldSkills Lyon 2024, Various Voices Brussels 2026 and the Centre de Prévention du Suicide (a suicide prevention organisation in Brussels). These are incredibly rewarding human experiences that regularly remind me why I so enjoy giving my time to others.

Having fewer resources should not mean an organisation has to aim lower, or settle for less access to quality support.

I enjoy working in the private sector, with the speed, adaptability and sometimes resilience it takes to move forward. Do get in touch if you’d like to talk about a project, ongoing support or anything else where an outside perspective might help.

That said, the non-profit sector is full of vital projects that are close to my heart, but whose resources don’t always match their ambitions. So if my experience can help a non-profit overcome an obstacle, get better organised, move a project forward or simply catch its breath, I’ll already feel I’m doing something worthwhile. Contact me and together we’ll work out what kind of support would help you most.

In the end, perhaps this sums me up best: I love people, I love a challenge, and I love it when things move forward. And if we can do all that with a smile, even better!
